After long wait, 4G is finally sure to be introduced in Nepal within two months. Ministry of Information and Communication (MOIC) has approved Radio frequency policy 2073. With this, licencing issues has been fixed which has made posible for mobile operators to apply for 4G through technology neutrality. Both giant telecom operator NTC and NCELL claim that they are capable of operating 4G technology within two months of getting licence and frequency. At first stage, they are planning to spread their 4G network in Kathmandu and other major cities. On later phase, it will be spread through all over the country.The regulator NTA is busy for analyzing and evaluating appliction received from Network Operator for the licence. Another telecom company Smart Cell is still silent about adaptaion of this cutting edge technlogy.

How to USE 4G in mobile and computer?
4G can be directly used in 4G enabled smart phones and tablet. After subscribing 4G services sim card from respective mobile operator, One has just to go in Phone setting >>mobile and networks>> enable 4G.
Operators are upgrading their hardware and software in existing network. So there is no need change or buy another sim card. 4G can be subscribed from existing sim card.
For Laptops and Desktop Computer, 4G usb Dongle are available in market. 4g Dongle is is a small USB device that allows to access 4G in desktop and laptop. USB dongles give internet users greater flexibility with the convenience to access the Internet when away from the home or office.
